The performance of a starter depends on the reliability of the Relay. This unit consists of a triple pole, bimetallic relay housed in a sealed bakelite enclosure. It is of the manual resetting type, which unmistakably indicates tripping due to overload. After tripping on an overload, the relay has to be reset by pressing the ‘STOP’ Button.
The Relays can be reset only after the Bimetals have cooled sufficiently after tripping on an overload, thus also allowing the motor to cool down. A wide range of Relays with easily adjustable current settings are available.
All Over Load Relays are individually tested on a automatic test bench to ensure foolproof operation .Whenever there’s an over load due to load conditions or drop in supply voltage the relay will trip ,disconnect supply and protect your Motor from dangerous overheating or burning out.
